im looking at buying an rgv 250 93 model cheap just for a work horse type a thing .... has anyone ever fighterd one of the and if they have does anyone have any pics ... i know its only a 250 and its a waste of time but i reckon it would look sweet with a short ass end and dirtbike bars

Don't know about fightered RGV's but there was a guy on the Central Coast (I think) that used to put BSA donks into them and offset the cranks (like a TRX). Apparently it wasn't too hard to make them fit.

There was one in street fighters magazine a while ago with a DR800 motor in it.

in my experience if you plan on using an rgv as a workhorse be prepared to be pushing it home.

m8 i have owned 2 of them and if u look after it .. it will look after u in my opinion ... never had a problem .. and thats givn it a hard time

I want one too.

Want to jam a TL 1000 engine into it.

If it won't fit then an Aprillia 550 Twin.

used to have a rg 250 with a rd 350 powervalve planted in it (yammagamma)could pick up the front in 3rd gear,loads of fun

They were called a TV-250
Only one's I ever saw were 2nd hand Jap imports.
Were they ever sold by Suzuki in the UK or AU ?

RGV250, one of my fave bikes..... what a nuts machine.
