Where abouts in Mackay is that?
My son lives around racecourse & my younger brother lives out at Seaforth.
I lived up there my self in the late 70's early 80's & remember seeing sights like that a few times.

we're out near marian.north half way between marani n marian. its called hidden valley if u know the area.10 min from either township....the river out here is acutally a river for the first time in about 9 years..

Mate i lived in Seaforth, Slade Point, Bucasia, Racecourse,
Town Beach, Far Beach & just near Milton Street High School.
Ummmm, don't think i forgot anywhere, i used to get around a bit in me younger days.;)

It was on a dirty old pop up 750 katana but don't tell anyone.[:I]
Town beach was cool, i lived in hamilton street if i remember correctly, but not for very long, it was with the ex outlaws.[xx(]

I remember Statey pretty well, Doug Mcgoldrick not so well, but don't remember that kwaka sorry.
My brain was usually in a pretty big haze back then & there is actually a lot about the 8 years that i spent in Mackay that i have no memory of at all[:I]:(:(
Do remember having a bloody ball most of the time & spent a lot of those years running the spare parts at Fields Honda in Victoria street.

yeah mackay has that effect on ya lol.staty n my dad built bikes together back then heres a pic of his tripple 500....it ran 11.7's back in the 70's.i think...
