I found a few pics of TRXs, seeing as there are few members here with them i thought you may like to see them. I had one a few years ago, and am thinking of getting another.

No mate the insurance money will go towards replacing the stuff that was stolen. I was only weeks away from having the long bike up ang running. But theiving cunts stopped that. Ive been looking at buying another bike for a few months now but honestly couldnt justify spending 15k+ on a toy. I reckon 5-7k on something a bit different would be the way to go. So im looking at stuff like TRX, TLS, Triumph, maybe RF900, even older Ducatis and Motards or maybe even another Katana. I havent decided yet.

G'Day T(hyphen)(Space) Rex,

Welcome to it all.
An R1 USD transplant is pretty straight forward (do a search of a TRX forum). I did mine by taking a complete '01 front, changing the steering stem over (the Rex one was arc sprayed and machined to the right size, bolt up. It drops the front by abount 40mm though. And while I was at it I got a new top clamp machined up for a set of MX bars. There is a way of keeping your front wheel, but that part is complex and needs a new axle.

I never really got into twins or triples. Maybe a screaming 4 just suits me,
maybe I just dont have the ability to swop from 4's to Twins (more likely).

The RF900 is a very under-rated bike. I like them.
I'd take one home today at the right price.

Katana ? What is there to say! A classic and endless possibilitys.

Busa's are getting cheaper ? Another older one with light damage should be cheap.
Makes life easy being able to chop and change parts betweeen bikes.
