Anyone got any pics of a supercharged GPZ900r would really appreciate it to see how they have done it??

I know it is a long shot but no harm in asking :D

Thanks

There was some story coming out of England (bout a year ago) about some people over there developing supercharger kits for Jpa 4's which would apparently fit GPz9's. They were taking the drive off the alternator drive I think. Everything was tucked up behind the cylinders, no ugly lumps off the side of the motor.

Can't remember anymore details though.

Hey Jaffa sounds sinister!! What are you plenning? I am looking at fitting a T2 Garrett to a gp9 with fuel injection, newer BB turbo would have been better but I have the T2 already.

Try www.tts-performance.com they are a mob in the UK doing superchargers for Hayabusa's GSX1400 and other bikes.

there was a SF muscle bike issue a few years back that had a gpz750 in it where the owner did a belt drive alternator. said he was going to supercharge it that way. It was off the stator side. The bike also had a vfr rear, 750 turbo tank and body work, few other bits. I might be able to scan the pics if interested.

What fuel injection are you looking at using Evad?

I've been looking at it for mine, although after a bit of research I've been thinking about building my own injection unit. It's not that difficult using current generation PIC microcontroller chips. Built my own EGO meter and air speed sensor the other day and it was surprisingly easy. The range of special function IC's these days almost make it plug and play, with a bit of micro programming to manage it all.

Hey Chalky, I will be using the megasquirt ecu like the one that I run on my z650, have a loko at www.msefi.com they are going to release the microsquirt in a month ir two's time. Its going to be the size of a credit card or you can go the diy route and assemble all the patrs onto the board yourself with the Version 3.
