I know this is a bit of a long post - but take the time to check it out, you'll probably find something you want...!!![:p]

Hey guys (and girls!!)
Just thought I'd poke my head in say G'day - I'm still alive (contrary to popular belief!) - I've just been too busy over the last month-or-so to even read the forum, let alone post in here!

If you haven't had a look at the web site for a while you'll all be ecstatic to know that I've just reduced just about every price by about 10-15%! I'm sick of bike shops rooting me up the arse and having to pass it on to the public, so now everyone is getting a better price.

I've also just changed some of our lines of stuff. I've pissed off most of the stock sportsbike stuff so we can concentrate on streetfighter & generic performance gear.

Here's a bit of a round-up -

All BlueFlame pipes are now about 20% less (that's a REALLY FRIGGIN GOOD PRICE!:D), so don't be tight & have a look at the NEW MEGAFLAME cans. The looks and quality are better than just about every 'big' brand available -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/166.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/168.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/167.html

All ABM stuff (top yokes, discs, rearsets) are now even better value for $$$. I don't need to tell you guys about the quality of this stuff -

Top yokes - http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/57.html
Discs - http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/92.html
Rearsets - http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/95.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/96.html

We're not doing any plastic mirrors any more (basically because they're all SHIT[V]) and so we've got some fuggin' great new 'bar mount jobbies -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/310.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/309.html

I've also got some great looking billet mirror handlebar mounts (the old ones - the ones you'll get from EVERYWHERE else - were ugly and of 'variable' quality[xx(]) -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/127.html

I've also got loads of new billet gear from UK. These are the new bar end mirrors -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/248.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/306.html

And these new billet fuel caps are FARKING AWESOME! -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/307.html

I've also done away with just about all of the old indicators and we're now doing these smick little LED's that come WITH RESISTORS, so you don't need to fuck around to stop them flashing too quick -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/47.html
http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/48.html

As well as them we've got some magic little bar end indicators for about $100 less than the dildo-esque Kellermann items -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/294.html

Finally, we've got a whole heap of new headlight fairings and naked bike screens, and some budget twin headlight brackets -

http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/cgi-bin/shoppingcart/cart.cgi?action=search&category=Fairings+Screens+Headlights

So do yourself a favour & support your local streetfighter importer guys!

Cheers - and see ya'll at the Brisbane EXPO!!!:)

Thanks fimp! Do you mean the bar END mirrors - or the bar CLAMP mirrors? I'm tapped out of the bar end ones until next week, I'll have plenty in by then.
I've got all of the fuel caps in at the moment, but be quick - they're moving pretty damned fast, as are the mar end mirrors & rego holders!).
I've got plenty of 6 & 8mm clear hose, but am almost out of the 10mm....

This is crazy I live ten minutes from Oberon engineering and all those lovely billet parts and i was going to buy some parts direct from them over the counter that is until i saw stu's place on here.
It will be cheaper for me to wait until I am in Aussie land and get what i want from Stu's place.

Heres an example a billet petrol tank cap for a gixxer will cost me in au$195.20c and from stu's au$165

Just how fucken crazy is that and you guys are thousands of miles away

Hahaha! Nice one Alfie! Sadly enough the reason my prices are like that is because there are too many people around here that are THAT FUCKING TIGHT they won't support local business if it's just $1 more expensive than purchasing from overseas.... you can only imagine the cut in profit I'm having to take for it - if I don't bulk my sales up it'll be a short-lived venture, that's for sure!!!!
Do me a favour mate - pop in to Oberon & say G'day to Steve & the boys for me eh? That'll surprise the fuck out of 'em!!

See ya in Sunny OZ soon!

I'll be in there next week stu as i am going to have a look at some new stuff they are doing and swap a part i bought for a different colour one.
I'll say G'day for ya

Just found out that your ABM top yoke conversion kits work out to au$20 cheaper than the cheapest place i can find here in the uk.

I am now going to pass a law to all streetfighterists in aussie land do not let stu's place fold and vanish it's fuckenn cheap for the quality gear he is selling :D:D

Does that qualify me for extra discount now :):):):):):)

I like the look of those " Oberon Bar End Mirrors ", but was wondering how they go with engine vibration, does your rear view turn to a blurr or what ???

Not tight just realistic. If i can buy a comparable AUSTRALIAN made item for a similar price or even a bit more thats fine, ill pay the extra for Australian Made. But ill be buggered if im going to pay a substantial amount extra just for the privlige of having an Australian importer bring something in for me when i can get it much cheaper buy importing it myself. I bought my shift light/minder system, 2 step and air shifter through www.cyanideracing.com.au (abusa). Although it proberly cost me $20 per item more than importing it myself, however i know he offers excellent after sales service and things were here within a week. I also bought my V&H sidewinder drag exhaust direct from the USA and saved nearly $1100 and got it in 4 days, the Australian distrubtor said 1 month delivery time. Do your research and you will save $$$

It pays to shop around. I just bought a Factory Pro Shift kit for my blade which was $89US on their website. I rang the Oz importer, Matt Mladin Imports and was quoted $200 Aus!. I thought stuff that and was going to buy direct from the US. Just out of interest i rang Wolf Imports in QLD and got it shipped to me for $137 and they had one in stock! That much variance between two Aussie companies importing an identical product is a joke.

I believe the net has done wonders for Aussie prices as there is another option for consumers. I think all of us want to support Aussie business's but give us a fair go and be competitive, or we will buy elsewhere. The dollar is at 75-80c US now not 50c.

I have gotten basically all my fighter parts off Stu as he doesnt fuck you around, has quality gear and he has always come to the party on price.

not much fighter stuff comin outa the US.The euro is currently about 56 cents to the AU dollar. It pays to have friends in Germany :D. Think i'll sit on the fence now.[:0]

I have been buying up bits on ebay uk to bring with me in readiness for when i build my first fighter.
Not mega big parts but things lik pingel dual flow fuel taps, Dyna ignition stuff,K&N pods, sprint dampers, ABM, the list goes on :)

And when I need to buy parts when I am in Aus I will be buying from Aussie bike shops/webb who give a good deal and service.
:)
