alternator needed

hi, just wondering if anybody has a spare alternator sitting around that would suit a 1987 GSXR1100. Does anybody know if early and i suppose later model Bandit 12 jobbies will work? Im having serious electrical probs with my new old gixer.

bit of a late response but yes the bandit ones will fit the gixxers and vise versa but you may have to change the drive cog on the replacement alternator but thats it.

gixa what sort of problems are you having, and is the alternator that you want, to borrow or buy.
