Hi there,
Im new to this forum, and I just purchased a 1989 gsxr 1100, i've had a '89 gsxr 750 previously and would just like to say.

Fortunatly I have a place in mirboo north, and I have been looking out for clubs etc, but unfortunatly (as I found out this morning) when the bike i purchased went in for RWC it needed the rear suspension done and as I purchased it through a dealer, it's not costing anything extra, but wont be ready for up to 2 weeks.

So im gunna miss ya poker run :(

But i am going to try and make the party though it sounds like a blast!!

Cheers

See ya's there

FFS, ditch that rear shock if its standard, worst thing Suzuki ever put on a bike. The later models run a fully adjustable dampening,pre-load and rebound settings.I have a 96 model shock and they bolt straight in,made a huge difference. Otherwise Devo has a nice aftermarket 1 for sale for $500.
(sorry for pissin in your thread Jo):)

Hopefully I will be able to still ride on it, either way shall be there.
Disaster stuck I was working on the bike and over she went I REALLY did my best to save her but gsxr1100 has a damn lot more weight than I have:(:(. Last rational thought was ohhh my clutch window. Good news is I softened her landing with my foot, only broke a lever, bad news they think I broke the bones in the top of my foot ( had x-rays but more toma as it’s to swollen to tell)
Yeah I know every1 thinks its pretty funny[:p] but I think its crap lol

The important bit is you saved it Jo. $8 for a clutch lever.
Bones heal.
B.T.W.What was the reason it conked out on the way home from the Island.
Don't think I'll be able to get a leave pass to come along to the poker run.
