I need a steering damper for my GS1000.
Anyone got one or any ideas?

I can only suggest new ones but that will hit your wallet pretty hard mate, Around $400 if I remember rightly. If you can go that far try Stu: http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/137.html - ah, on checking they might be a bit more. Maybe you could get one of the cheaper ones and modify your bike to suit as it won't have any existing mounts anyway. You'll only need the back mount welded on as the front clamps the forks anyway. I got one of these units and they are really well made with what seems like endless adjustment in the damping. Great for almost solid on the dragway and soft on the road.

Found one at one of our wholesalers, really cheap,
almost too cheap actually so i'll try it out & them do a product review for ya.
