Gear shift linkage rods...

I'm after a pair of rods...you know the bit with the threads on....
The are for the adjustable screen I am putting on the xjr.I need them about 160-180mm long. Anyone ???

are u talking about the 6mm rod with tapped ends (one a left-handed tap)?

get some stainless 6mm round bar, left hand and right handed M6 Die's and some rod ends to suit
shouldnt cost u too much to get sorted

I asked in the local Industrial supplies shop and he looked at me like I was mad...reverse...thread[?] ....hence looking for the rods.
