i know that you can fit an oilcooled 1100 head onto the old GSX EF motor, but i don't know which one will fit, or if all of them will, & if so which is the best with the biggest valves ?
Any info appreciated....

Don't know for sure, Mundy might know, but I would have thought the 1127cc one would be the go, as it's closer in capacity to the EF's 1135cc.
Is there any performance benefit to be gained?

What year model engine are you using? the original 84' model was updated in 85' with a 3 face valve cut, which gave a 6 HP boost (plus torque increase) over the previous years 2 face valve cut.

Be interested to hear how you go with it, and what the improvements are.

If you're stuck, Ian Irving knows. I was at his workshop years ago, and he had one on the bench, built for a Midget speedway car. Fugly looking thing, an oil-cooled head on the air-cooled barrels and bottom end.

Cheers,
Brian
