We got -5 on Monday morning.
I took the bike out, rode around the block and straight back into the shed, took the car instead. Guess I should have been wearing more than a business suit on the bike[:I]

And no Turbo, I still haven't replaced my fingerless gloves[:0]

93 onwards watercooled engines wont bolt in your frame, you need either 1052cc or 1127cc or a bandit 12 motor. that means gsxr11 from 86-92 or bandit any model or gsx11f from any year.

I started riding in NZ guys, I've seen more than my fair share of snow covered roads, black ice etc etc etc.
Plus I have a child................well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

That's why I've got one too, Chalkster.
Heater and radio are a fringe benefit of "having one for the country".
Commiserations on your geographical situation El Slugie, have some Tequila for us.

Here we go again with the cold shit.........not only I, but 1 of my work buddies ride to work almost every day.both of us frequently have ice on our leathers when we reach work.when you live 800 metres above sea level it can get "get fucked cold".and black ice is as much a pain in the arse as wet leaves.thanks oz for that info.by the way it is a 12/89 complianced L model not a k as I first thought.got quoted today $2500 for a 90 model motor, seems a bit steep.

Actually haven't seen black ice in CBR for some years now. But once the hills are covered in snow then commuting becomes painful (especially in my new location which restricts me to purely commuting the traffic is that heavy, and patrolled.

Don't mind the cold so much when it's a decent ride.

The ridiculous thing is I left NZ to get away from the cold, and it's farkin worse here.
