Cosmetic damage. The wheel was repaired, run tested but the cosmetic side needs a clean up. I have the 300mm disks but they need repairing and you can have those for an extra $40.

I'll be using them on my 600 track bike. So if you're confident the repair is adequate (i.e. no buckle etc) then I'll take the lot for $140. Any idea what postage will set me back? I'm in Adelaide, S.A.

Oh, hold the phone ... what is the stock size of the rotors on an '02 600? 320mm? Will the 300mm rotors work on '02 GSXR 750 USD Showa forks (non-radial brakes)?

Everyone please note. The rim does not include the tyre. The rim has cosmetic dents & lumps but they do not affect the tyres ability to function. A bit of time with a dremel , some bog and a re-paint would see it right. Shipping to FNQ is about $20. The discs are the warped ones off the Buildoff bike so they are in desperate need of straightening. The front wheel was borrowed for a month by customer who used it until his replacement arrived . The tyre he used only lost 2 PSI over the month and operated without incident. He did however use his own discs.

Hang on a sec Wayne, don't be offended too easy. I still want the part. I haven't declined the purchase of the rim.

There's nothing wrong with me being a bit cautious considering I've only seen one pic of it and not inspected it visually. My questioning was not meant to offend dude.

Email sent for the rim.

But, I no longer want to sell it to you. Yes, I took offense to your mail and now will not do any business with you. Buy from someone else. That simple.

Someone needs a hug and a chill-pill. All I wanted was to ensure I was getting a useable rim, and you got moody at my offer. What? Am I meant to buy off you blind? Take your word for it, so you can have my money? For the record, you offered it to me, and I haven't yet decline the purchase of the rim. If you do "stand by your parts and if (you) get it wrong refund anyway" then why was it so hard to dela with me. You could have just said no to the terms, not to the deal entirely.

I've expreienced better trade and assistance on ebay ... and that's saying something.

Your response:

"It is being picky and I do take abit of offense at it.
I always have stood by my parts and if I get it wrong
refund anyway. But, as it is alot of stuffing around
for a wheel thats way below market value I'll sell it
to Clive instead.

'nuff said.

So, anyone else who's not ultra-sensitive got a rim?

Chop and tlr, I don't want to close this topic due to arguing, so can we leave it there rather than getting back at each other. Please PM each other if necessary. Also I am not needing any defence to this post so please do not reply to it. Cheers Guys.

Thanks for the heads up. Not sure if I want 99 rims, but I've enquired anyway. They should be good, straight, reliable rims!

I believe the 2001 onwards were largely lighter.

Reminds me, I better browse TLZ and paypal BX for the Vortex clipons (insert 'devious' smilie here) :)

Woohoo, received my front rim today.

$41 with only a minor ding in the lip. I'll have that straightened and balanced, no worries!

Beats paying $100 for crap. Ebay is my friend. :)

Also got upper and lower race glass coming ($75); radiator ($35); and my Vortex clipons have arrived ($100).
