The pipes I was going to put on the bike dont fit :(:(
I'm after a set of 4 into 2 stainless headers to fit a Gsxr 1990 1100, if any1 has some laying around hopefully in Victoria :)

Man ! I know what you mean about the Gixer airboxes, what a FUCKER they are to get out huh? :(
I hadta get the one out of my brother's Slabby a while back, ended up having to split it down the centre seam - what a prick ! [V]
BTW Rosco, I was pulling the airbox & motor out of it to put a [u]MIGHTY</u> ZX9R motor in to make it GO FAST :D:D

Fuggin right there Ross, it should be a contemporary motor, like an 85' ZX900A [^] , then it'll go righteously faster ;).

PS I'm about to demonstrate my ignorance here, and probably very badly, but why can't you put a 186 into a 'phase 3' [?], plus what is a 'phase 3' [?] I used to have a phase 4 joystick on me computa (leave it alone Davo, it's just too easy[}:)]) is it anything like that? I'm currently working on phase 2, of my data migration job, and I can fit lots of 186's into it, in fact any number that you want, even like really really big numbers like 1000.

Stuff in green cans:D stuff in green bikes[xx(].

Chalk, phase 3 GTHO, 4 wheeled vehicle from the 70's with legend status. 186, shitty old 6 cylinder engine from rusty old holdens, mind you I reckon a HR with a 186 would probably been considered a mighty fine sports car back in NZ, compared to all the hillmans & consuls that were all the rage over there[8D]

Phase 3 and E49 were probably the most collectable of Aussie muscle cars Chalky. That's my old XW above, not quite so collectable but probably a lot more powerful.Scary fucker to drive sometimes but heaps'o'fun.Owned that in the mid 80's and was a bit too much for Sydney traffic, even back then.Used to race out to Grenfell,Bathurst,Eugowra,Cowra and the like in it for the B&S balls with the country guys I knew...cool fun but used to be like a $100 in fuel to get there.Be more like $300 now.Ah nostalgia!

PS Bikes are still more fun.And sorry about the car rave!

Ah, nice one Tone! Theres not much that'll beat the muscle of a classic Falc. Btw, anyone seen a Phase 4? only about 3 ever made.

Have you tried doing a parts search for the pipes? www.findapart.com.au

the Bowdens live just up the road from me,i've worked at there house a few times.they own over 50 collectors cars including Brock's old Bathurst winning A9X and L34's and Moffat's GT's amongst many others. The shed in which these cars live is worth about $100mil at least. My neighbour does all their paint work and usually wakes me up on a Sunday morning with the rumble of chunky V8 as he rolls it outa the spray booth. He's just finished spraying my bike so i'll post up the pic's soon.
