I have a few questions if anyone could help that would be great.

Looking for a GSXR 1100 or Bandit 1200 to fit to a L Model 750.

Any ideas of what a good price to pay for complete electrics and carbs?

Also best places to look?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Wazza

the thing is you want the same thing that everyone else wants.

i think a reasonable price for a complete setup would be $2000

may be better off looking around for a complete bike and selling off the bits you don;t need.

your looking at the 2 grand mark for the motor and then you'll need everything to get it running, ie carb's wiring' etc.

There has been 2 Bandit 1200 motors on Ebay recently. One was about $1800 the other was about $1600 both 1999 models. The $1600 one was mounted in a 90's GSXR750 frame so it is very possible. Like the other guys said... $2000 is about the right sort of money.

Thanks guys for your input it is much appreciated.

I have a contact here in SA that is importing low km 88 GSXR 1100 bike complete, running in good order.

He wants $4000 for a complete bike, engine has 21,000kms on the clock. That seems like a good price and i dont have to find all the other crap. He has 5 of them and is planning on importing more.

Were the 1100 and 750 frames the same cause i have found a 90' 1100 airbox, would that fit.

Once again thankyou.

Thanks for the info.

Chalk10, Checked that site a while ago and it has an abundance of info but just a few holes that have to be filled, thatks for the reminder though. Ill look even harder to see if i can find out what i want.

As for the motor on Ebay thanks OzKat and Davo i will do a little investigation on this one and see if he's interested in lowering the price 03Gixxerpilot also vouched for the guy so ill see what happens.

maybe you should start a new thread with a photo of the bike and a price guide for the major parts you have on offer eg motor, forks, wheels, fairings, instruments, frame, tank etc.

just a thourght.
