Well I've got my hands on a '95[watercooled anyway] USD front end, but the wheel I've also managed to get hold of is a '91 or L model, and the spindle for the USD forks does not fit the smaller ID bearings in the 'L' wheel, and I want to use the 95 spindle,[I don't have the 'L' spindle anyhow!] so Deano...... do you have a pair of bearings to suit my particular situation?
You said ask, so I'm askin!:D

the 95 spindle will take 6204 bearings (from memory) they should be 20x47x14.
the front wheel bearings for GSXR models are
J model 6303 17x47x14
G & H 6302 15x42x13
k/l/m/m/wp through to T - 6204 20x47x14
Don;t take this as gospel as when i brought a s/hand 94w front wheel from the wreckers it had the 17mm bearings and not the 20mm that should be in there.
if your model has the smaller 17mm spindle then just knock out the old bearings and replace with 20mm 6204 bearings.

don't pay anymore than about $6 for then
hope this helps

Deano's wright 6204 is correct, If you read my post, I put in a link
to a web site called alpha sport, every suzuki part # from around
1964 through to 2006 use it so you guys can see compatibility from
year to year.
Here it is again,

Cheers,
Dave.

WoW! Fast response time there Deano, some kinda record......
I've measured [I know, should have done that first!]the spindle, 25mm where it travels through the wheel, steps up to 32mm to fit the fork hole on the left side, and threads into a sleeved fitting, through the fork on the right.Must be a later model USD fork set, maybe. It came with Tokico calipers, maybe that's a clue?
The bearings in the L wheel measure 20mmID, and 45 OD.
So I guess I need 25mm ID, 45 ODx14 bearings, do these exist?
Thanx mate

Thanks Deano, and you're right, the outer dimension is 47mm, I can't understand how I fucked that up.....shit happens I guess.....
I'm also gunna have to get the innerwheel spacer, and the spacers and seals for each side. This fitup was easy in my mind, but now the reality is I'd better go back to the donor bike and see what else I can scrounge from it.
Sorry about the confusion there, seems like I'm good at that sort of thing!:D
Your list gives me a 25X47x12 bearing, if I'm reading it right...:)

i got a wheel spacer somewhere but it was to suit the 20mm.

my set up didn't have any other bearings other than the ones on the bearings.

they have just a matal shield that is attached to the spacer that go on either side of the bearing.
