Anyone know where I can get a nice alloy (Quick action) throttle that uses 2 cables ?

A race bike part with no switches etc on it ?

Thanks

i put a alloy trottle assy and switch blocks off an R1 on my 7/11.

they are seperate switches to throttle assy and use twin cables.

i was having issues with the throttle not returning so i got the R1 unit and it is heaps better than the old one.

it is a quicker action than the original GSXR but nothing like a racing action.

I would ring around and see if there is a quick action unit to suit R1

i think the new ZX6R has a similar set up aswell

I'm with Deano, I put an R1 jobbie on my racebike & it's a top unit, approx. 1/4 turn & it has a real slick/snappy action, best thing Yamaha ever did.
'Bout $50 at a wrecker.
You'll hafta make sure your orig. cables are compatible with the new housing - mine weren't so I used the R1 jobs.
