Left Field question But does anyone here know if it is possible to swap my Duke 600 twin for a Duke 1000 or a Aprilia 1000 Twin, Even a SV1000 or TL1000 Twin as I would like to keep the light Monster 600 Chassis

Another option is the newer Duke 749 twin, Any Info much appreciated

Not sure,
I know I saw an SV650 with a TL1000 (same as SV1000) motor
in it long before Suzuki built one.
Always thought a Buell or Monster with a TL/SV1000 motor
would be a great bike Looks/Power/Reliability

Build a frame that will take the new engines mounts & the Dukes non-engine bits. Might need a bit of thinking but it's doable if you have the technical skills.....

1 + 1 = 2. thats how many cylinders you are missing.that should take care of maths and science homework for the night.[8D]

Forget the Duke frame, they brake under heavy braking, I did 4 of them in 10 years. The TL's aparently do bottom ends according to the wreckers in Sydney so go for a Honda VTR donk and a reputable after market frame, chuck in the Duke forks and brakes and away you go.........

i agree (cant believe im saying this...)
the VTR seems to have a more reliable donk :(
