hey guys. looking to do the renthal / raiser conversion. found a site in usa with renthals for $au110 delivered to my door. id prefer to put dollars into oz but i cant find anything comparable here > http://streetfighters-usa.com/store/product9861.html < i also can only find one set of raisers from ausstreetfighter.com and they just seem a bit plane? im just looking for something quality, are these ausfighter items up to it? keen to know what you guys use and basic fitting instructions. i understand that you have to drill the top yoke but is it as simple as just bolting them up? i have a soare yoke so im polishing it up. any help is appreciated.

I can't get pictures to work for some fucken reason and I can't hotlink offsite....

so here's some links to another way to do it...

Those ones in your pic are fine.... but I didn't like the look..

SO I machined down a BMX headstem and drilled and tapped underneath..

not cheap tho..... but it doesn't look the same as everyones elses

Hey Drrew, I was looking at a riser site a couple of days ago, which had risers which use the standard clip-on mounting points. I'll chase it up when I get home this evening. Have a look at Zpower as well, they do a different type of riser style.

Does your bike require a riser plate in order to use the risers in the foto?

I've had mine custom made each time. The latest ones are being done by Ben at Extreme Creations. www.extremecreations.com.au Also Hand Made Racers are near you. Go to the home page of this website and click PARTS (the front of the swingarm on the Judge bike) to see the link to Jim's website.

steve they are hot! a dude off another forum has chrome version of those they are schmick! i dont think my bike requires a plate, how would i determine if it did?? i checked out the HMR site and i couldnt seem to find anything to do with risers. custom would be the bomb like those x creations triples but atm $$1200 is a bit of an issue... cheers chalk10 i look forward top it.

i will be making some risers similar to these to suit fat bars and the yokes will follow shortly.

A lot of it depends on the type of bars you want to run. I'm running drag bars, and standard riesers won't clear my forks stanchions, and they end up too low. Using a plate I am able to raise them by 3.75 cm, plus I have more space for positioning the risers. AND it's a stronger base for the risers 3.75 cm deep, as averse to less than 0.5 for the top triple

right i get you chalky. my top yoke is around 20mm thick. ive got clearance to run any bars theres no issue there, im going with renthal mx bars tho. those raisers are awesome deano, do you have any idea of cost or availability? thanks for this guys.

Not 100% but probably less than $100 per pair

Will probably make a few different heights to allow for the top of the forks poking through the clamp

Drew, I didn't think you wanted the complete triple tree from Ben, I was thinking about just the risers. More to the point, Jim at HMR might just be worth a ring as you could go down to his work shop and show him what you have. It's all about the height as Chalky says. Deano has been on about these Bad Boys for a while so I'm quite keen to see what appears from him too. My first ones just took a trip to the aluminium shop to get some billet and then a trip to my favourite engineer of the time with a sketch. Cost bugger all and I got exactly what I wanted.

I've also got these ones in from Oberon ATM - they're a lot chunkier than the ABM ones (which are designed to be nice & slim - unlike me!). I've got plain silver and possibly a couple of black in various styles, they come in short, tall, angled and fatbar versions.
Cheers...:)
