at the moment.. its a gsxr front end, a r1 rear end, and a hayabusa subframe.. thats basics.. theres sooooo much more to be done. but i just cant stop lol! i friggen start one thing.. and then before i finish it, im already trying to make that one thing better... like adding efi to the perfecting fine blow thru turbo set up i had going LOL!!

one day, i'll be done

haha yeah i must admit, it does look tough with out the fairings!

but i also know it will look awesome with the fairings as well. the whole point of going for the hayabusa tail was to fit up the tail plastics.

who knows... only time will tell!

cheers.joe.

That's the best looking 750F I've ever seen mate. She's gonna be good. Still can't believe I haven't seen you out on the street, I only live round the fucking corner from you!

haha you know you prolly have.. but then again.. ive only ridden the bike 2 times since january, and the last time was about 3 months ago.. at 2.00am-ish on a tues morning... was a blast, it was when i had the ihi finally turned and dialed in running 6psi. you know how, after you turn left at the round about from pacific pines tavern, and head up towards the mobil servo, theres another round about, go striaght thru that.. and them 2 MASSIVE SWEEPERS!! i distinctly remember hearing the turbo WHOOSH as i struck some 8000rpm and she took off like a scaled cat, ive hit them sweepers previously at 140 ish, but that morning.. 160 was mine (partly due to the new suspension on the front i think ;)

i got home, grinning from ear to ear, satisfied in my plight for a tuff as guts gsxf, only problem then was,.. i wanted more!:D[:0]

so straight away i plotted my course of action, and as soon as 7am ticked over.. the ratchets rattles, and i was cursing.. she was pulled down, the grinder whirred into life and the frame cut up, parts ordered and then it was a waiting game.. sourcing all my parts from the U.S as its so much cheaper (03 GSXR rear shock for AUS$60 shipped to my door for example)

when i get my much deserved break from work this xmas is prolly when i will have this beast closer to being finished i think.

till next time happy modding!

cheers.joe.

nah the rear will still be standard size R1...180/190, and the front the standard 120. im into canyon carving ;) so i still want the bike to be "flickable" through the twisties.

FIMP: been having a little drama sorting parts as of late. tho now sorted. i should be on my way again shortly... just awaiting the r1 rear shock (shorter then the gsxr1k one i have) and the gsxr clip ons to get to me....and now with the help of a fellow board member ive found the last remaining body panels needed to. so by the time i have em on, all i'll need to do is install a heavily modded stg 3 jet kit, tune, h/d barnett clutch, chain sprockets, tyres and rego.

so not far now

cheers.joe.
