Geez.... what an effort the pic gave me a hard time. But here it is, my shed Friday night.

The '03 Roadie, my mates Buell which is a lender while he races around on my Busa for a couple of weeks and the still. The still pumped out 5 litres of 80% alcohol which works out to be 10 litres of Rye Whiskey for less than $100.... bargain and good shit to boot.

And the hound on guard duty, as I live 5 minutes from the Namatjira Mission....

Cheers Rich

Davo, leave the plumbing alone it's all good. It ain't an amphet lab. The rottie wouldn't back one out on the Roadie, she loves to lick the chrome though.

As to the Buell it has balls, it's sexy, loud and beautifully engineered.... but it ain't a Busa, heavy, fast and faster. I actually had the Buell as a lender with the chance of a straight swap with the Busa, I'll stick with the Busa as I reckon my ol' '98 M2 Cyclone was a better bike than the XB1200S.

The still construction is easy if your handy with the tools and can lead solder. The whole set up will set you back about $300 - $350 tops. The still will last you a life time.

Distilling is seriously idiot proof, you watch a digital thermometer and at 92 degrees C you stop, test the % of alcohol, dilute, carbon filter, flavour then drink....

There's no metal filings on the floor or empty Wild Turkey bottles lying around mate. You didn't teach him all your tricks.....
