Need some advise on fuel range with the 19 Litre VTR's. What sort of range do you get with out flogging it? I'm used to doing long miles eg Syd to P.I. and hate having a peanut tank. My current Duke can do 250 at a squeeze, and if the VTR is comparable I might buy one. Sick of pushing the Ducati around.

You'll get around 240 - 260 if ridden sensibly (what's the point though?) but just less than 200 if you're really up it.
These figures are averages from 2 mates of mine, 1 with a 17L & 1 with a 19L, 1 can ride, 1 can't.
Don't buy a VTR though, :( get a TLS - they're much more fun. [:p]:D

Talking to the guys at the wreckers and they have had plenty of TL's with shagged bottom ends coming through so I might be in for a VTR. No bad reports about them at all so far.
