Good stuff Mundy glad you enjoyed it.

Hey Davo - what new master cyl you getting?

15-09-2005, 05:18 PM
just aftermarket MCS,but with annodised alloy screw caps. havnt looked around much but these ones r cheap,i'm not really fussed as long as i can bleed the system without having to remove it and strap it to my lawnmower so the fluid is level. got any tric ones you know of Deano?

Deano

Davo

have MCS got a website? and how much? it sounds like something i could do with

i have bid on a master cyclinder on ebay US at the moment it is up to 11.00US and the same guy has a sprocket cover that to up to 11.00US
so we will see.

Deano

if you having trouble with the bleeding of brakes and clutch you need one of these bad boys

we sell them for about $115.00

http://www.jwl.dk/show-site.asp?Page=5&Product=trykluft

15-09-2005, 06:20 PM
not sure about the web site,i'll check 4 ya,could be under "offroad imports". they do universal mc's in steel an plastic reserviors.the caps r from UK. mc cost about $120 each or cheaper if ya rootin someone in a bike shop.

15-09-2005, 06:31 PM
the only problem i have bleedin brakes is that my master cylinder is now on a 45degree angle due to fat bars. kinda hard to keep fluid from spillin everywhere. i got 1 of them bleeder bottles, cost me $4.50 from a liquidators sellout.left it on the shelf in the garage and the mother in law thought it was a bong.:D

Be interested to know what you come up with for master cyclinder, as you know I have the same problem. Started using your lawnmower handle idea the other day Davo! Works a treat mate, just looks fuckin' stupid when your mates come round and there's a master cyclinder bolted to the push bar...

Deano

Sounds like something i will have to investigate davo

the bike shop around the corner deals with MCS so i might go around there and see what i can come up with.

i missed out on the mastercyclinder on ebay i didn't want to go over 30.00us for it.

looks good but cant justify the dollars

spoke to damaige on the weekend and have decided to copy what he has
so i am now in the market for a late model ZX9 master cylinder and seprate resevoir?

went and checked out the MCS cataloge and could only find a universal brake master cylinder.

19-09-2005, 06:46 PM

mate, its a whole new aspect in grass manicuring. think i might have just invented the "LAWN FIGHTER".my neighbours are envious of my hi-rise clip-ons and brake/clutch lines that i've addapted.gives maximum control so i can mow the lawn with 1 hand while drinkin beer with the other.might even slap my old fairings on it and call it a "Lawn Poofter".;)

Gix11
19-09-2005, 10:58 PM
That's it mate! Now I have an idea of what to do with my old fairings! I'll create me a Lawn Poofter too. I think I've even got some carbon fibre look mirrors lying around that would go a treat on it....

20-09-2005, 06:01 PM
sounds kool mate,we should form a team and enter the Aussie lawn mower championships.along with Huddo,"the National Grass Cutting Champion" on his "Grass Bandit".Ozkat will probly join us with some kinda turbo Victa 2 stroke.[:o)]

20-09-2005, 09:12 PM
whats this,a use for the old faggot parts? sorry mate,i've started a new craze. lawnpoofters.com.au. give it time an the europeeins will be sellin parts to suit your extreme carpet shaver.[:X]
