Can anyone help with advice on an effective method of removing factory stickers from plastic body work? I'm not prepared to spend the next few weeks peeling them off with my thumb nail, so quick and easy if you know how.

DO NOT use a 3M rubber sticker removing wheel on plastic bits - the heat generated by the friction will melt the plastic.
Yes, I found out the hard way :([xx(]:(

Ah Damo. Welcome to the wonderful world of Rexie! If it ain't a kwaka he's not happy. His favourite pasttime is taking the piss out of other makes. If you go through this forum in it's entirity you will probably find 546 slanderous quotes towards other brands from the Rexmeister, it's his calling in life. He enjoys himself....
I too had a Blade in '92 mate, the original 16" front wheel model and it was fucking great! It gave a turboed 1100 EFE a good run for it's money at the time along the M5 in England, but I guess he was putting down a few black marks at around 120mph (200kph)........

First of all I'd buy a Harley before a Honda. The bike in question is a 97 Suzuki RF900R. I tried the hairdryer thing, (which worked a treat thanx Gix) and then eucaliptys oil to get the glue off. Plenty of deep sctatches to fill now, but is looking better already.
