Hello,

I am starting my first modified bike project... after seeing and riding J7/11's kick ass machine.. the bug bit after that fors sure.

Im finishing up my car project V8 EFI into Fe Holden so I can use a few tools with Ok results.

bike project is....

1982 GSX1100.

Have got 1996 WT GSXR1100 forks.

Need a wheel to suit it now. The wreckers are pretty expensive.

Anybody have a wheel or know where to get one?

also I've decided to monoshock the rear, using a 93 model GSXR750 swinger and shock.
so on the look out for one of these too.

Any leads are much appreciated.

Hey Ed. Good to have you on board mate. Depending on how much work you want to do I have a '91 GSXR750 rear shock dismantled and needs redoing. I got given it with another bike I got from one of the guys on here and I know I'll never get my arse around to sorting it out so if you have the time and effort to sort it throw us a couple of bucks and postage and it's yours.

thanks for your reply, and apologies for my late one.

How dismantled is the shock?

I had planned on re-valving anyway, rather sending ot off to be done.

If yours allows me to set up the bike OK then im interested.

Sorry mate. I got your email and I've just read that but I'm so bogged down with work I don't have a second, even this message is gonna cost me trouble! Ozkat gave it to me mate so best we ask him what state it's in. Hey Ozkat? Let the man know. It's still in the bag as you gave it to me.....

should only need a regas and oil. worked great for me. i would be quiet happy to use it again.

yeah still interested, sorry 'bout my slack arse late reply.

i stumbled on a Bandit 1200 swingarm that will fit easy into the gsx.

has no shock so your shock may be just what i need.

will let you know if i pick up this bandit swinger.

still waiting on a GSXR rim to arrive as well.
