So i gets the bug to powdercoat the frame as the standard colour was a bit gay and the previous paint job was shite, so out came the angle grinder to relieve it of the subframe and then i spotted this swingarm that i thought would look nice [8D]

The rear cam lines are off, im gonna try something abit different with the routing of the cam feeds and bring both lines out to the nearside of the bike and up around the carbs, but i dont know if i can get the run i want or how tight this is gonna be until i get the tank back from the painters[?]All the front lines are off as they are all 3" to long, i should have new lines early next week. New switch gears fitted and a Q/A throtlle, ive gotta get some cables made up next week as these go up and over MX styley;)

i just noticed something interesting on your bike, the rear brake arm. How does it act under hard braking? Typically you want that pointing at your CG, its obvious why its not but it would seem to make the rear end squat heavy under hard rear braking, not locking it up ofcourse. just curious

Gix, the chocolate subframed water boilers been in my garage for about a month now as Terry has bought my Blade off me. If my build takes any more turns for the worse it looks like i'll be going over to the TT on his old boot :(I will have to get a sticker made up...."THIS IS NOT MY BIKE"

Shifty, the torque arm works well, but i hardly use the back brake anyway. My m8 Spart has got the same arm and had trouble with the torque arm ripping the threads out on the upper fixing. He did the TT 2 years ago without a back brake atall and his front brakes leave much to be desired[:0]

I cant sort the Brembo's out until i get the HRC reservoirs from Thialand and they're delayed due to their NEW YEAR !!!Jeez i hate deadlines, the bike needs to be finished for the end of the month so i can bed in the engine rebuild, get it dyno'd and iron out any faults before the TT......

I need to make a concise decision tommorow,as ive got 5 days off now and i want my bike finished by the end of this month, do i hold out for all the parts on back order and spend 5 days fucking around with the non-essentials till Tuesday and hope the parts come in and then its one mad dash to fit it all OR put it all back as was over the weekend and run it around to iron out any faults[?] Common sense says the latter, but me and sense sometimes dont mix ;)

Still waiting for....
Noz botttle valve and main feed line
Fuel cap
Pingle tap and fuel lines
Clip ons
Brake and clutch reservoirs
Brake and clutch lines
Throttle cables
Headlight

The fuel tap is holding me back on finishing the cam feed lines, only having 1 headlight is holding me back on making the headstock bracket.
The good thing is that i can actually get the bike finished without any of these parts and just put it back as was for the TT if im too pushed for time , but im a full time tart and want it done ;)

Mate that Bandit is looking superb! At what stage do you stop calling it a Bandit tho and something else...

Cheers dude, for as long as its got the same frame , it will always be a Bandit, IMHO thats the weakest part of the bike aswell . But if i changed the frame the bike wouldn't be mine anymore if you know what i mean [?]

I saw a photo of a bandit with a GSXR tank on here before and it looks bloody great mate. Nice move.

Thats were ive stole the idea from ;) and it just so happens that ive got Terry-motos water cooled bag-o-shite in my garage, so i reckon he will have to coff up the tank as back pay on the rent :D.The tank fits the frame well and gives it that enduro sorta look wich will look the nuts with the clip ons[8D] The tanks underbelly needs modding to clear the Bandit front frame brace and the tap needs moving and we've got a winner [8D]

I was running clip-ons on my B12 for a while. Great fun for track days but not something I could live with every day...

He did the TT 2 years ago without a back brake atall and his front brakes leave much to be desired[:0]

you bastard[:p]
front brakes work fine i dident ram you did i (much)
as for the back brake yep if its not 100% true it will rip out the threads
£260 for a specialist to put right or £40 for a local fabricator who does not have bike specialist slapped in front of his company logo
says it all

Understand where you're at Spart, if Turbo had known how bad my brakes were on last year's AFR, he would have had the shits with me sitting on his tail through all those twisties. But hey I thought the rush was worth the risk :D

Dan, have you got any front on shots of your B12 sans clip ons please?? Did you run the standard throttle and choke cables??
