i was planning on entering this, but i binned the bike at queensland champs... im out till november :(

unless someone wants to give me a set of race glass to suit my k6 gsxr 1000 ;)

i'd happily ride for you, but im not sure you are allowed to run only 1 bike, looking like 2 bikes, 2 riders, there is an issue with refueling i think.

Just sorting out the second bike now........
Should be 1 GSXR750 1995 model and a GSXR1100 1990 model
Both with the ohlins and revalved forks, 1 PTR 750 motor and 1 mild 1100..... or there abouts
have a look in the "post you latest pic" thread might not be quite as pretty tho.....

Did you get that motor running good mate? I think I found some more spark plugs for it aswell

im currently lapping in the mid 1:22's these days for the long (k) track

so, if its something your keen on, let me know and i'll talk to the missus about it (my racing budget for the next 2 events have been diverted into fixing my bike atm :( )

Hmmmm obviously you will be the lead rider then, if i get it all together,
Best i got out of the 1100 was a 1:28, and it was ugly.
The others i have been racing with are into the 1:22 - 1:25's so i guess i am not far of,
and my last excuse, it was my first outing on the bike for over a year and the first time on the new track.........
So i am expecting to lose a bit of the fat in that lap time.
But i guess it is also on old bikes, i never felt worried about the horsepower at Morgan Park before, but after that track day i really noticed that the bigger bike would walk away from me onto the 2 straights......... but it could be the way i am exiting the corners as well

Just make sure you run it on abyss or better and use that yoshi black box and enjoy

No worries on the Black Box, But i am not sure on the abyss, I gather its a fuel type? If it is who makes it?
I was thinking on running avgas or looking at a bit of race fuel, either VP or Shell, Depends on what i can get in toowoomba

Sorry Joe, been stuffing around trying to make money......... I really don't understand why people just don't give me all the money i need and let me go and play with it how i want.
Anyway I am 80% on the #2 bike, i am wanting to have it sprayed and pretty before i let a rider on it, got to keep up an image. I should have the story on how it is running today, no Dyno tho so it might be a bit of guess work on the tuning. I have the other bike nearly ready as well, it is a bit more basic in that it is only a carby swap and a bit of basic tuning.
But i was planning on giving you a seat on one of the bikes, If one of the bikes does not get going i will put you on a 950 KTM Supermotard, how does that sound?

Well that has screwed this race meet, they have canned it due to lack of interest.
only 30 entries for the whole weekend, 5 for the 1 hour race........
Sucks.
Guess i will have to wait for the next race, late October i think.
