The Westernationals have been run this w.a. labour day long weekend.the two WASF protagonists..Rocket and i were entered in Mod bike.
54 riders in our class and after a change of machine to the mighty Ranga bike Rocket drew against Paul Nieuwhof (one of the most experienced mod bike campainers) and redlight by a mickey hair putting himself out..
the BULLFROG was running fuckin awesome..and first round drew a turbo Hayabusa of Queenslander Rowan Lind, he ran a 8.86 and broke out by .02.he came past at the finish line with close to 70kph more speed..fuck that thing is FAST.but the BULLFROG ran a 10.25 for a win.
next round drew John O'hara on another busa..he red lit and i got through to round 3 against you guessed it, another bloody Busa of Queenslander Chris Collin his 9.94 against the Bullfrogs 10.16 went to the Bullfrog..
round 4..was my turn against paul Nieuwhofs 1428 Kawasaki i then red lit by 6 hundredths.. and it was semis next round Bugger it!
Anyway was an AWESOME weekend...i would like to dedicate it to my Dad "bla Hell" thanks dad i realy appreciate your help...also to my mates Rocket and scottish Chris thanks guys..and to the Queenslanders that i met and raced against what a top bunch of lads..see you next year maybe il get over to Willowbank and continue the state of Origin.. to be in the last 5 bikes near the end of the nite was such an awesome experience ...
