Hi Guys,

I would be happy with a good, pre-loved set as I am likely to have to modify them anyway for my application.

Depending on what you want to do with them Busa pistons will fit but will give you less compression.

Give them about .003" skirt clearance when you use them in an oiler as they normally operate in a water cooled environment.

Good quality ART forged.

Try and get the weight down as much as you can otherwise they may cause a bit of vibration.

Hi Guys,

I think Busa pistons may be a bit now on CR for me.
I need a final CR of about 13.5:1 and I am using a 750 dot head as the basis (initial combustion chamber volume of about 20-22cc).
After all the chamber mods, I will probably have a chamber volume of about 23-24cc.
I have already taken 0.5mm from block to reduce deck height for my current Wiesco pistons.

If I use Wiesco 1216 81mm pistons (12:1), i will need to take 1mm off the crown to get anywhare near where I need to be.

The plan is to produce an engine with a very compact combustion space for good cumbustion efficiency.

Probably a set of low CR 1216 pitons or a set of high CR Busa (standard bore) pistons might do the trick as a starting point.
