Since the end of 2006 ASF has incurred some
increased running costs due to the shear amount
of traffic it is now receiving (over 500,000
page hits a week).
We have no sponsorship from companies and give FREE advertising for businesses who we think will benefit mutually from ASF and it's members.
Supporters of the site (long term ASF members) suggested the way to maintain the site was to have an annual donation and a minimum figure of $20 was concluded (although a few generous members have contributed far and beyond that).
A $20 annual fee
If you are not already a full paid member and would like to be one to access the sealed area of this forum and also special offers etc, we extend the offer to donate a minimum $20 annual fee or we now have a new offer.....
A $30 annual fee
Full paid ASF members have access to, and wear, ASF jacket patches (Small arm variety, not full back patch or anything like gang patches) and we now put forward the offer of supplying new members with this patch with paid membership for an initial donation of $30 or more ($10 dollars more than normal donation to cover patch and postage).
So to sum up:
Full paid members receive....
- Hidden Forum access
- Special discount offers from supporting stores and dealers around the country / world
- First offer on any event accommodation or limited passes
- First offer on second hand parts / bike sales from other ASF members
- Access to the members rides and fabrication tricks area
- ASF full member special gear (such as limited shirts and patches etc)
- ...and a couple of things we can't list here for obvious reasons...
